Jos Buttler - ICCAfter a disappointing title defense in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, England has revealed their white-ball squads for the upcoming tour to the West Indies. The upcoming series provides an excellent opportunity for England to devise new strategies for the 50-over format and prepare for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, scheduled to take place in the West Indies and the USA. The tour, set between the 3rd and 21st of December, comprises three ODIs and five T20Is. Jos Buttler will continue to lead both squads. The playing group will include only five other players who participated in the World Cup campaign in India, signaling a significant overhaul.Gus Atkinson, Harry Brook, Brydon Carse, Sam Curran, and Liam Livingstone will join Buttler in the team. The first two ODIs will be held in Antigua, while Barbados will host the final ODI and the initial T20I. The subsequent T20Is will take place in Grenada and Trinidad, with two matches each. Two particularly promising additions to both the ODI and T20I squads are Josh Tongue and John Turner. The 22-year-old Turner has garnered praise for his performances with Hampshire in the domestic scene and for Trent Rockets in The Hundred.Meanwhile, the West Indies, having missed out on the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023, are making a return to international cricket. Their most recent series was in August when they hosted India, losing the ODI series 2-1 but securing a 3-2 victory in the T20I series.England SquadsODI squad: Jos Buttler (captain), Rehan Ahmed, Gus Atkinson, Harry Brook, Brydon Carse, Zak Crawley, Sam Curran, Ben Duckett, Tom Hartley, Will Jacks, Liam Livingstone, Ollie Pope, Phil Salt, Josh Tongue, John Turner.T20 Squad: Jos Buttler (captain), Rehan Ahmed, Moeen Ali, Gus Atkinson, Harry Brook, Sam Curran, Ben Duckett, Will Jacks, Liam Livingstone, Tymal Mills, Adil Rashid, Phil Salt, Josh Tongue, Reece Topley, John Turner, Chris Woakes.England Men’s Tour of the West Indies1st ODI: 3 December, Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua2nd ODI: 6 December, Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua3rd ODI: 9 December, Kensington Oval, Barbados1st T20I: 12 December, Kensington Oval, Barbados2nd T20I: 14 December, Grenada National Stadium, Grenada3rd T20I: 16 December, Grenada National Stadium, Grenada4th T20I: 19 December, Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad5th T20I: 21 December, Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad Jos Buttler Comments Submit مضمون کا ماخذ: اسکریچ کارڈز خریدیں
